You have more than enough on your plate of late. I know, and yet. There is a girl, lives in Dismas, goes by the name of "Freya". She has decided to turn herself into the police as a danger to herself and others, but her guilt is. . . misplaced.

I do not entirely trust Byakuya to sentence mercifully, but for ... personal reasons, I want this resolved. She is very frightened. I told her you would accompany her to her confession.

Sorry to commit you ahead of time. But I've done a bit of back-reading on you and I believe you are the best man for the situation. Far better than I.

[in terms of a screening process, either Arthur's name is very powerful, or Shirley and Lupin are powerful enough to monitor someone within the Clinic, or both. The place is public, open, and run on good faith anyway: infiltration would be (a. pointless and b.) easy enough without offering to serve.]

It shows the inside of the Clinic, a private room… and Lupin lying in a very unnatural position: like he's been frozen in a standing position then tipped over onto the bed. Which is exactly the case. [Perhaps it could be said to be something of a tradition formed in Anatole--or much more simply, a habit he'd had little reason to break. Either way, since his arrival in Anatole, Kotetsu has found himself doing something or another for every birthday announced over the Forge network. This one is no exception, but due to circumstances mostly of his own doing, he finds himself in a position where he is unable to either attend the party or get a gift for this 'Remus Lupin.'

--well, that's not entirely accurate. But in the interest of not allowing things to deteriorate further between himself and his partner, he does the sensible thing (better late than never?) and doesn't leave the Clinic.

He does, however, dig around the network for the name, and happens to find the correct Forge to contact.

By the time the video starts, Kotetsu already looks awkward, and wonders if he shouldn't have just left a text message instead.]
